Ranked one of the nation’s best graduate schools of education in the country by U.S. News & World Report, Peabody College has a longstanding mission to make a meaningful difference in education, leadership, and organizations.
The doctor of education (Ed.D.) in Leadership and Learning in Organizations bridges the divide between theory and practice. Ed.D. professionals solve organizational challenges in a wide range of industries and settings. The combination of deep understanding and contextual experience enables the implementation of positive change in diverse organizations and communities.
Your Project
The project will begin in Q1 2024 and be completed by Q4 2024. Our team will share progress and observations along the way. As part of the doctorate requirements, Ed.D. professionals in their final year work on a capstone project with an organization to address a problem of practice.
For companies, the capstone offers corporate leadership the opportunity to have a team conduct original research and consultation on an area of inquiry.
The team may test a solution and make recommendations for long-term improvement. Students share their findings with the organization and its leadership, as well as Vanderbilt faculty.
